Generate a simple shaded picture of the objects displayed in the current viewport.

Change the Display of 3D Objects

You can change the display of 3D objects, including those created in other products.

At the Command prompt, enter SHADEMODE.
From the dropdown list, choose 2D wireframe or Hidden.
Objects in the current viewport are displayed in their current color.

Remove Flat Shading From a View

At the Command prompt, enter REGEN.
Shaded objects in the current viewport are restored to their normal display.
