2025.1 Update

The 2025.1 Update fixes compatibility issues with macOS 15 Sequoia and improves user experience and overall stability of the product. It also improves security in some areas.
Fixed Issues
Problems Reported Through the Customer Error Reporting Utility
As a result of the detailed information that we received from customers who used the Customer Error Reporting Utility, we were able to identify and fix several defects including the following:

| Occasional crashes when opening special drawings, then recovering or directly recovering them. |
| Occasional crashes when opening special drawings containing AEC objects. |
| Occasional crashes when saving changes made after editing an external reference in-place. |
| Occasional crashes when editing hatch objects. |
| Occasional crashes when saving DSD files during publishing. |
| Occasional crashes when canceling the Select File dialog box. |

General Update Content
The following defects have been fixed:
| macOS 15 Sequoia |
| File thumbnails now display correctly in macOS 15. |
| Switching paper size in the Print dialog box is now smooth in macOS 15. |
| Graphics |
| Holding the Ctrl key to select an attribute now properly displays the selection effect. |
| The Graphics Configuration - Display Driver Error dialog box no longer shows unexpectedly at AutoCAD LT startup. |
| Hatch |
| Hatches are now successfully added to some closed boundaries of a block. |
| When a hatch is created with the "Path" option and finished with the "Closed" option, the hatch area value is now accurately reflected on the Properties palette. |
| The boundary creation results using the BOUNDARY command are now the same as the results created by -BOUNDARY command. |
| Existing hatches on 3D objects now align correctly when using the HATCHSETORIGIN command. |
| Activity Insights |
| Logging in to third-party cloud drives from Activity Insights is now possible in macOS 14.4 and later. |
| Start Tab |
| Searching for drawings with extended characters in the Start tab is now possible. |
| The visor no longer occasionally appears in the Start tab when switching tabs. |
| Mtext |
| The size of text embedded in some blocks is now displayed correctly, consistent with legacy product. |
| Performance |
| Improved performance when selecting and displaying block grips in some drawings. |
| Improved performance when changing some dynamic block properties on the Properties palette. |
| Improved performance when loading custom hatch patterns. |
| General |
| Some TrueType fonts in the drawing can now be selected normally. |
| The selection cycling command line workflow now works as expected. Also, the SELECTIONCYCLING system variable is now remembered across sessions. |
| Zoom Extend now adjusts the display to an appropriate scale in some drawings. |
| Some command aliases now link to the correct commands in the French version. |
| Some special AEC objects are no longer invisible. |
