Click Render tab Render panel Advanced Render Settings. At the Command prompt, enter RPREF.
In the Advanced Render Settings palette, make sure Shadows is turned on (the light bulb).
Select the shadow mode you want to use.
Turn on Shadow Map.
Render the model.
