These release notes contain important information regarding the changes and improvements of the Update.

What's New in AutoCAD for Mac 2025

Applying Updates

To download the updates, choose one of the methods below:

Recommended: Launch AutoCAD, click menu AutoCAD 2025 > Check for Updates. A notification banner will pop up with the latest update that is applicable to the current version. If the current version is the latest version, the banner will show "Your product is up-to-date!".
Login to Autodesk Account Portal to find the download of the update.

Note: If nothing happens after you click Check for Updates, check the notification setting in your macOS preference and make sure the notification is enabled for AutoCAD for Mac. If the notification is already enabled, click the top right corner of the screen to open notification center, and you should see the notification on top of the notification center.

Available Updates

Install this Update

Quit all Autodesk products.
Double click the downloaded dmg installer to mount the disk.
In the mounted disk, double click the pkg file to start the installation.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

After applying the latest update, the Product Version in the About AutoCAD box will be updated as V.100.M.437 AutoCAD 2025.1.1.

Silent install with scripts is supported for this update. To install an Update with scripts, run the following in terminal:

sudo installer -pkg <update pkg path> -target /

Uninstall Updates

You can only uninstall the whole AutoCAD, and cannot just uninstall the updates on Mac.

To uninstall the whole AutoCAD: Open a Finder window, navigate to Applications > Autodesk > AutoCAD 2025 and double-click Remove AutoCAD 2025 app.
