To modify the default display model

  1. In AutoCAD Map 3D toolset, in the Maintenance workspace, open a project.
  2. Click Home tab > Display panel and select the default display model.
  3. Click Home tab > Display panel > Generate Graphic.
  4. Make any desired changes to the display model:
    • Remove layers not required for the display model.

      After the default display model is drawn, there may be layers that are not required for data stylization, for example Plot or COGO layers.

    • Style layers in the Display Manager.
    • Hide or show layers in Display Manager.
    • Define scale ranges.
    • Change the display order of layers.

  5. Click Home tab > Display panel > Save Display Model.
