To create a data connection

  1. In the Infrastructure Studio Site explorer, right-click the Data folder and select New > Data Connection.
  2. In the Connect to Data dialog box, select Autodesk FDO Provider for Enterprise Industry Model and click OK.
  3. Enter the connection properties (MAPSYS).
  4. Select the Data Store row and click the browse button.
  5. In the Data Store Selection dialog box, select the industry model to work with.
  6. Enter a user name and password, and save it into the Data folder.
  7. Click Test Connection.
