To Customize the Colors in the Drawing Area

Click AutoCAD 2026 > Preferences.
In the Application Preferences dialog box, click Look & Feel tab.
In the Theme Overrides pane, select the color of Modelspace, Paperspace, and BlockEditor by clicking the respective menu items.
Click OK to save the settings.
