Weld points establish a connection between objects and contain not only the weld properties but also the logical connection between the connected structural parts.
Weld points are displayed as crosses in the model.
Access the command
In the Objects tab 
Connection objects panel, click
(Weld point).
Command line: _AstM4WeldSeam POINT
Create a weld point
- In the Objects tab Connection objects panel, click
(Weld point).
- Select the elements to connect and press Enter.
- Define the center point of the weld to insert.
- The weld point is inserted.
The properties dialog box appears where you can define the weld information.
