Learn how to use drawing processes to automatically create drawings using appropriate drawing styles and arrange the created details within a drawing (DWG) or across several drawings.
An Advance Steel process is an advanced rule which selects objects from the model and details those objects using pre-configured drawing styles. The drawing process also has information about the batch creation of drawings and is able to reuse prototypes and automatically number and scale the drawings to fit.
A process includes a number of other processes:
- Selection of parts.
- Sorting.
- Used drawing styles.
- Rules for detail arrangement on the sheet.
- Rules for attaching new sheets.
Using the Drawing Process Manager, you can create new drawing processes and modify existing processes.
