Process

To utilize the add-in, follow the basic outline below:

Setup: this is where specific parameters are identified, default values are set, and options about applying these to Rooms or Areas are made. Once these option are identified, the tool will update the model with the defined parameters and data. These settings can also be exported for use in multiple files.

Synchronize: this function will review the model for Rooms and Spaces. Where the geometry and position between the two aligns, you can copy data including Name, Number, and parameters defined by the Room & Area Sync tool either from Rooms to Areas or from Areas to Rooms.
