Draw and sketch curves and circles in Create VR
In this video, learn how to create and remove curves in Create VR.

Draw a NURBS curve
- Select the Curve tool
.
- Pull the Tool Hand trigger to place CVs.
- Press
to complete the curve.
Sketch a free-form curve
- Select the Sketch Curve tool
.
- On the Tool Hand, hold the trigger while drawing the curve in the space.
- Release the trigger to complete the curve.
Sketch a steady curve
Select the Steady Curve tool
.
A wand is attached to the stylus.
Press up or down on the Tool Hand analog stick (Oculus) or D-pad (VIVE) to adjust the tolerance for stroke stability.
Hold the Tool Hand trigger while drawing the curve in the space.
Release the trigger to complete the curve.
These sketch curves are polylines that cannot be modified.
Draw a circle or an ellipse
Select the Circle/Ellipse tool
.
The stylus displays a dashed line, which shows the axis that the circle or ellipse will be drawn on.
With the Tool Hand, place the axis in the scene where you want to create the object.
To snap the axis to the X, Y, or Z direction, position it until its color changes to red (X axis) blue (Y axis), or green (Z axis).
Tip:Tap left or right on the Tool Hand analog stick (Oculus) or D-pad (VIVE) to cycle through X, Y, or Z placement of the axis.
A plane displays in the scene with a small circle at its origin.
Move the Tool Hand to scale the circle.
Press up and down on the analog stick (Oculus) or D-pad (VIVE) to add or remove thickness.
Do one of the following:
- To draw a circle, pull the trigger, and then press
to complete.
- To draw an ellipse, pull the trigger, and then move the Tool Hand to stretch the circle into an ellipse. Pull the trigger again to complete.
- To draw a circle, pull the trigger, and then press
Delete curves
- Select the Global Delete tool
.
- Place the stylus on the curve and pull the trigger.
