1:1 Scale View mode
This video describes how to switch view modes with 1:1 Scale View, and how to change the default position of the model.

You can use 1:1 Scale View mode as a way to toggle between a comfortable working scale and full 1:1 scale. 1:1 Scale View places your model at a distance making it easier to view at full scale. This is useful when you want to quickly view the whole model without rescaling it. While in 1:1 Scale View, you can also rotate your model 360 degrees around a center point.
Enable 1:1 Scale View mode
Pull and hold the Global Hand grip button, and then pull the trigger.
This causes your model to move from its current scale and position to the default 1:1 1:1 Scale View position. The state is maintained while you hold the grip and trigger down.
To rotate your model around a center point, move your Global Hand left and right.
To bring the model back to the working position, release the trigger.
Change the 1:1 Scale View position
You can adjust 1:1 Scale View by changing its position vertically and horizontally.
- To change the view position vertically, tap up or down on the Global Hand D-pad or analog stick.
- To change the position horizontally, tap up or down on the Tool Hand to move the model further away or closer. Tap left or right to move the model in these directions.
The next time you use 1:1 Scale View, your model appears at the new position.
Change the default position of your model
You can also use the 1:1 Scale View feature to change the default position of your model in the environment. For example, you can position the model so you can easily walk around it in the environment, allowing you closely to review the design.
- To do this, enable 1:1 Scale View, then release the Global Hand grip button while holding the trigger. A sound emits and your model pulses to indicate that the default position has been reset.
- Release the grip. Your model is now at a new position in the environment.
- To bring the model back to you, hold the Global Hand grip button while pulling the controller towards you.
As the model gets closer, hold the grip button of the Tool Hand controller and use it to continue pulling the model. Do not release the grip button of the Global Hand until you start pulling with the Tool Hand. Repeat this motion until it returns to a comfortable working distance. The motion used for this technique is like pulling on a rope to bring an object closer to you.
