Pick walk
Pick walk on CVs and hulls
The term 'pick walk' is used for the process of stepping from one CV or hull to the next using the Ctrl + Arrow keys. For example if you are shaping a curve by moving CVs, instead of selecting the next CV with the mouse, you can use the Ctrl+arrow keys to select it, and then move it directly.
Pick walk is also useful for stepping through CVs in order to check if there is any unwanted 'zig-zagging'.
To use pick walk, select one or more CVs, edit points or hulls, and then use the Ctrl + Arrow Keys to step backwards and forwards.

For a curve:
Ctrl+Up arroworRight arrow- Increasing UCtrl+Down arroworLeft arrow- Decreasing U
For a surface:
Ctrl+Right arrow- Increasing UCtrl+Left arrow- Decreasing UCtrl+Up arrow- Increasing VCtrl+Down arrow- Decreasing V
In practice, most users just experiment with the arrow keys until they find the right direction.
Pick walk in the Object Lister (Object View)
Shift+Up arrowkey moves up one level in the node hierarchy.Shift+Down arrowkey moves down one level in the node hierarchy.
Pick walk in the SBD window
Shift+Up arrowkey moves up one level in the SBD hierarchy and selects the whole surface.Shift+Down arrowKey goes back down the hierarchy, eventually to the first CV on the object (U=0, V=0).Alt+ Right or Left arrow moves the selected nodes left or right in the SBD
Note: Currently these don't work if the SBD window or Object Lister are the active window. Click in a modeling window to allow the pick walk keys to work in the SBD window or Object Lister.
