Use the Playback Options to choose to output an image file and to set options for optimizing the play back of your animations.
Image File Output
Output Image
When this option is on, the next time a playback is invoked, you can select the file names and location to which the animation is saved to. The animation frames are saved as .tif files to the specified location and incremented as imageName.1.tif, imageName.2.tif, and so on.
The camera view that is used for the images is the same view as the current application window. To specify the window to be used for creating image files, click in it before starting a playback.
After you have selected the file location and entered a name for the images, the playback starts. The first time through the playback, an image file is saved for each frame. When the playback has run once through all the animation in the given range, playback continues without saving additional image files. If you no longer need to output images on playback, toggle Output Image off.
Output Resolution
Specify the resolution of the output image file.
Image Scale
Specify the quality of the output image files using the slider control. The higher the quality, the larger the file size.
Playback Optimization
You can optimize the playback of your animations by excluding certain objects from the playback. For example, you can choose to exclude wire frame models, cameras, and lights from your animation playback. Select the types of objects you want to exclude from displaying in the playback.
Choose from the following options:
- Wireframe Model - When on, no wire frame geometry displays during playback. This is useful if Hardware Shade (Shade On) is being used to render the model you are animating.
- CVs - When on, no CVs display during playback.
- Hulls - When on, no hulls display during playback.
- Pivots - When on, no pivot icons display during playback.
- Cameras - When on, no cameras display during playback.
- Lights - When on, no lights from the scene display during playback.
- Grid - When on, the grid in the viewport does not display during playback.
- Axis Triad - When on, the in-canvas indicators for the X, Y, and Z axes do not display during playback.
- Title Bar - When on, the title bar of the application window does not display during playback.
- View Cube - When on, the ViewCube in the viewport does not display during playback.
