Getting Started with Form Explorer for Alias

Form Explorer for Alias uses AI to help designers create car exterior shapes. The tool provides a way to enhance design exploration and streamline ideation workflows by generating a mesh object, which can be refined in conceptual modeling. Use text prompts to describe various characteristics of the car's exterior form as a starting point for your design ideas.

Continue exploring a design by iterating on the resulting shape using more specific text prompts to push it forward. Explore new variations by allowing Form Explorer to generate completely new forms.

Installation

First time users can follow the installation instructions to access and use the Form Explorer plug-in.

Good to Know

Prompts need to be in English language.
Prompts, seed and settings are attached as metadata to the generated mesh geometry object. You can view them in the Information Window.
