Alias-Dynamo Enhancements (2026.1)
In the Alias 2026.1 Update, we've introduced enhancements to Alias-Dynamo integration, improving script loading performance and more.
Alias Dynamo Improvements
We've made some improvements to the Alias-Dynamo integration, including:
Alias-Dynamo nodes - Alias-specific nodes are now labeled with an Alias icon to make them easier to identify in the Dynamo graph from native Dynamo elements.
Boolean Operations - The Boolean toggle is now available for all input types in Dynamo, including sliders, combo boxes, and strings. These nodes now have an Alias icon next to identify them.
Coordinate System Transfer - It is now possible to send a Coordinate system from Dynamo to Alias. The coordinate system appears in Alias as a plane and keeps the scaling information.
Dynamo Player Updates
Faster Dynamo Script Loading
A new Maximum Preloaded Scripts preference in the Dynamo Player preferences (General Preferences > Miscellaneous > Dynamo Player), lets you control how many Dynamo Player scripts are kept in memory. This means loading Dynamo scripts are now faster.
The default is set to 5, but you can increase the value if you are using more than five scripts in a session. Use the new preference to improve performance and responsiveness during script loading and updates.

Additional Dynamo Player Enhancements
You can now interrupt the execution of a Dynamo Player script by pressing the
Esckey on your keyboard. This allows you to stop a script that is taking too long to execute, such as in cases when you incorrectly set parameters to values that result in lengthy calculations.A new Surface Boundary Curves (bndcrvs.dyn) script lets you generate degree-3 curves around selected limit surfaces of an input subdivision object.

Alias updated to Dynamo 3.6
We've updated Alias to Dynamo version 3.6.
