Summary
The dimensions you select for aligning must be of the same type.

Note:
- If the dimension to align have dimension lines inside and outside the extension lines, and the dimension lines and arrowheads overlap, do not use AMDIMALIGN. Adjust the dimensions individually.
- AMDIMALIGN does not recognize extension line suppression.
List of Prompts
The following prompts are displayed.
- Select base dimension
- Specifies a dimension to use as the base dimension for the align operation. You can select a linear, ordinate, or angular dimension.
- Select linear dimensions to align
- Specifies a set of linear dimensions to line up with the base dimension. You can only select dimensions that are parallel to the base dimension.
- Select angular dimensions to align
- Specifies a set of angular dimensions to line up with the base dimension. You can only select dimensions that measure angles about the same vertex as the base demission.
- Select ordinate dimensions to align
- Specifies a set of ordinate dimensions to line up with the base dimension. You can only select a set of ordinate dimensions whose extension lines are parallel to the base dimension.
