To Import a Previously Exported Parts List (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

In the drawing area, double-click the parts list to edit. The Parts List dialog box is displayed.
In the toolbar, click . The Import dialog box is displayed.
In the Files of type list, select the file format to import from.
In the Look in list, select the folder that contains the file to import.
In the Files list, select the file to import.
Click Open.
