AMSETUPDWG (Command)

Imports the drafting standards and the dependent settings from a template file.

Summary

You can use this command in the middle of a drawing session to replace the existing drawing template by another template. You can import entire standards, or selectively import settings you specify with the help of a wizard.

You can also use this command to clean up a drawing created using Genius 14. Typically, this option repairs or removes object relationships, cleans up Vario blocks, and freezes Genius Vario layers.

Note: Running the AMSETUPDWG command in the middle of a drawing session, and choosing another drawing template, might not fully convert the current drawing so that it appears as if it was created with the new template from the beginning.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Drawing template

Replaces the standard settings in the current drawing with the settings of a drawing template file (*.dwt) you select.

Template file path: Specifies the path to the file you want to import settings from
Browse: Displays a file open dialog box to assist you select the file to import settings from.

Configuration

Imports settings using an import configuration file. An import configuration file contains the options you saved during a previous AMSETUPDWG session.

Clean

Cleans up a drawing created using Genius 14. For example, this option repairs or remove object relationships, cleans up Vario blocks, and freezes Genius Vario layers.

Wizard

Displays a wizard to walk you through the process of specifying import options.
