Use this dialog box to specify the parameters required to export Inventor link drawing views.
Source Specifies the data to be exported. The Current Layout option will export all entities on the current layout. Use Select Views/Entities to select specific views and/or entities that you want to export. The Select button is unavailable unless the Select Views/Entities option is selected in the source field. |

Data Handling Determines how to handle the export data. |

Export Views True Scale Exports views true scale. Any views not already (1:1) are automatically scaled on export (excluding iso and detail views). If two or more base views have different scales, a warning dialog box appears, and the operation is disallowed. |

Flatten all Selected Objects Flattens all source data automatically (including any 3D AutoCAD entities). If this option is not checked, then only Mechanical Desktop objects are flattened. |

Convert Circular/Linear Splines to Circles/Lines Converts splines that project to 2D arcs, circles, and lines. |

Generate Preview Image Provides the choice of generating a quick preview of the exported data. This preview is the same one that is generated for WBLOCK operations. |

File name Specifies the name of the output file. The default file name is the current drawing name plus “views” and an increment. |

Export Options Provides choice of exporting to a new layout in the current file or to a new external file. When exporting to a new external file, the destination can be model space or in layout. |

Save as type The user can specify the format of the new file. The choices include past and present versions of AutoCAD, past and present versions of DXF and AutoCAD template (.DWT) |

Binary Format (only available for DXF files) Exports the file in binary format when exporting in .dxf file format. If this check box is checked (ON), then the DXF Precision check box is unavailable. |

DXF Precision (only available for DXF files) Exports the ASCII data with a specific precision when exporting in .dxf file format. |
