To Insert a Symbol or Text at a Specific Place in Dimension Text (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

In the drawing area, select the dimensions you want to edit. The Power Dimensioning Ribbon Contextual Tab displays.
Click Power Dimensioning tabEdit panelEdit Dim Text . Find
Click in the position you want to insert the symbol or text.
To insert a symbol:
1. Click Power Dimensioning tabInsert panel Symbol drop-down
2. Click the symbol you want to insert.
To insert text:
- Type the text.
Press ESC.
