To Mark an Area for Hatching (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Content Editor tabTools panelHatch drop-downCreate . Find
In the drawing area, specify a point inside each area that you want hatched, and then press Enter.
In the drawing area, place the icon in a position that you can easily associate with the areas you are marking.
