To Change the Path to the Template File Location (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
Click the Files tab.
In the Search paths list, expand the Template settings node and select Drawing Templates File Location.
Click Browse and select the folder you want to point to.
Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
