To Configure the Default Position of Hole Labels (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
In the Options dialog box, click the AM:Standards tab.
In the Standard Elements list, double-click Hole Chart. The Hole Chart Settings dialog box appears.
In the Points and origin section, in the Label position list, select the default position for hole labels.
Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
