    To Create a Layer From a Layer Definition (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

    1. Click Home tabLayers panelMechanical Layer Manager. Find
    2. Click to show all layer definitions.
    3. Double-click the layer definition you want to create a layer from. The layer is created and set current.
    4. Click OK.
