Content Manager Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to manage content libraries.

Content panel

Contains a list of standard and custom content.

 

Adds a new library under the Custom Content node.

 

Adds a new folder to a library or folder.

 

Adds a new content to the selected content library.

 

Opens the selected content or view in the Content Editor.

 

Deletes the selected content or view. This option is available only for custom content.

 

Moves the selected node up the sequence.

 

Moves the selected node down the sequence.

 

Specifies the path to the content libraries, path information file, and Standard Content configuration files.

 

Limits the content on display by applying a filter.

 

Search

Provides the ability to search for standard or custom content by keyword. You can enter multiple keywords separated by spaces.

 

Starts the search, beginning from the item selected in the tree.

Note:

If the item you are looking for is above the current selection, it will not be found.

 

Displays the Search Options dialog box, enabling you to specify how the search is performed.

Details panel

Displays the preview thumbnails for the contents of the currently selected node.

 

Address Bar

Displays the path to the current selection in the Content panel as a series of links separated by arrows. You can change the current selection by selecting a new path from the menu that is displayed when you click an arrow within the Address bar.
 

Right-click menu items

 

View Options

Displays the Options dialog box, enabling you to define the size of icons in the details tab and specify how they should be displayed.
 

View Larger Image

Displays an enlarged image of the selected icon.
 

Change Thumbnail

Displays the Select Thumbnail dialog box, enabling you to select a BMP, JPEG, or SLD file. The default format is BMP.
 

Restore Default Thumbnail

Restores the default folder, content, or view thumbnail. Once restored, the option is disabled when right-clicking on the same folder, content, or view.
