To Import an IGES File in AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset

The AutoCAD Mechanical toolset IGESIN command supports several IGES entities that are typically manufacturing specific. The AutoCAD IGESIMPORT and IMPORT commands do not support these entities.

1. Click Insert tabImport panelIGES. Find
2. Find and select the IGES file you want to import, or enter the name of the IGES file at File Name.
3. Click Open.
