To Change the Type or Orientation of a Taper/Slope Symbol (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

In the drawing area, double-click the taper/slope symbol to edit.
In the Taper and Slope Symbol dialog box, click the Symbol Type button.
Tip:
To locate the Symbol Type button, move the pointer over the buttons in the dialog box and inspect the tooltips.
Select the appropriate symbol type of the desired orientation.
Click OK.
