To Create a Parts List for a Drawing Border (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Annotate tabTable panelParts List. Find
Click the drawing border that contains the parts and assemblies to include in the parts list. The Parts List dialog box is displayed.
If necessary, modify the layout of the parts list.
If necessary, modify how data appears in the parts list.
Click OK. The dialog box closes and a preview of the parts list appears in the drawing area.
In the drawing area, click to indicate where to place the parts list. The program inserts the parts list into the drawing.
