To Specify the Insertion Point (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Content Editor tabTools panelBase Point. Find
In the drawing area, specify the location to place the base point.
Note: To prevent the base point from moving during a resize operation, you must use geometric and dimensional constraints to constrain it parametrically.
