    To Change the Base Point of a Component View or Folder (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

    1. In the mechanical browser, right-click the component view or folder and select Change Basepoint.

      The cursor extends a line from the existing base point.

    2. In the drawing area, click to specify the new base point.
