To Import Preset Edit Lists for Surface Texture Symbols (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Application Menu Drawing UtilitiesSetup Drawing.
In the Drawing Setup dialog box, click Overwrite Settings.
At the command prompt enter W for the Wizard option.
Select the Import Settings from drawing template option.
Click Browse
Select the file to import the preset edit lists from and click Open.
Note: To import from a .dwg file, you must first save it as a .dwt file and then import from the dwt file.
Click Next.
Select the import options.
1. Select the Custom import option.
2. Select the Surface texture symbol preset lists check box and click Next
3. Select the standards you want to import the lists for and click Next.
  Note: Due to the dependency between the current standard and system variables, AutoCAD Mechanical toolset does not let you clear the check box next to the current standard.
Review the changes and click Next to commit the changes.
Click Import.
Click Exit Wizard.
