To Create a Majority Symbol for Edge Symbols (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Click Annotate tab Symbols panel Edge Symbol . Find
Note:
Only the DIN, GB, JIS, and ISO standards support edge symbols.
In the drawing area, click an empty area to specify the start point for the leader.
Note:
To make a symbol a majority symbol, it must not be attached to anything.
Specify the second point of the edge symbol leader and press ENTER.
In the Edge Symbol dialog box, specify the edge requirements for the edges that you do not hope to create any edge symbols for.
Select Place as majority.
To specify how to display the majority symbol:
1. Click Settings.
2. Select the Full List option to show the requirements of edge symbols placed elsewhere in the drawing. Select the Simplified option, to show only the basic symbol.
3. Click OK.
Click OK.
