Summary
A wizard assists you to select the type of centerhole, the view, and the size to insert. You can create a detail view of a centerhole during the same command session.
You use the Select a Center Hole dialog box to select a threaded or threadless type to insert. Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process.
List of Prompts
The following prompts are displayed.
- Insertion point
- Specifies the insertion point of the centerhole. Select a point on the shaft contour. If you do not select a point where the centerline crosses the shaft contour, you have to specify the rotation angle. This prompt appears only when you insert a front view of a centerhole.
- Shaft diameter
- Specifies the shaft to insert the centerhole. Select a point on the shaft contour in a side view of the shaft. The point you select on the shaft, determines the insertion angle of the centerhole.
