Use this procedure to create a structural member style in the Style Manager. You can create a style using default style properties, by copying an existing style. After you create the style, you edit the style properties to customize the characteristics of the style.
- Click

- Expand Architectural Objects, and expand Structural Member Styles.
- Create a structural member style:
If you want to… Then… create a style with default properties right-click Structural Member Styles, and click New. create a style from an existing style right-click the structural member style you want to copy, and click Copy. Right-click, and click Paste. - Enter a name for the new structural member style, and press Enter.
- Edit the new structural member style.
- Click OK.
- If you want to assign the style to a structural member tool, drag the style from the Style Manager to a tool palette.
You can later rename the tool and specify other properties for it.
- Click OK.
