To Create a Blank Detail Component Database

Use this procedure to create a blank Microsoft® Access database with all required tables and queries for detail component storage and retrieval.

This is the first step in the process of creating a new detail component database using the Detail Component Manager.

1. Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA <version>\enu\Template\Details and Keynotes.
2. Copy the file AecDtlComponents-Template.mdb and rename it as desired.
3. Add the new blank database to the list of active databases.
