To Work with Panoramas

Autodesk® Rendering enables you to create and view panoramic images. Each panorama is a navigable, 360-degree scene based on the camera view used in the image.

Render a Panoramic Image

  1. In My Renderings, select a project.
  2. Select an image.
  3. From the toolbar, click the Render as Panorama button .
  4. If necessary, adjust render settings, and click Render.

View a Panoramic Image

Once rendered, a curved rectangle icon appears over each panorama thumbnail in a project.

  1. Click a panorama thumbnail to display the scene in the panorama viewer.
  2. Place the mouse pointer over the panorama viewer and click and drag to interact with the scene.

Download a Panoramic Image

You can download a panoramic image as a cube-map strip composed of six images. You can convert these images to other cube-map formats to view them offline using third-party programs.

  1. In My Renderings, select a project.
  2. Select a panorama image.
  3. From the toolbar, click the Download button .
  4. Choose between two download options.
    • As HTML: An HTML file linking to the series of panoramic images
    • As Zip: A full-sized image strip of the panoramic images
