Camera Settings - Arnold for Houdini

This section allows you to select the camera to use for rendering, along with data window and pixel aspect ratio.

The Arnold camera parameters are available in the Camera LOP.

Camera Path to the camera for rendering the scene. This is required to set when rendering to a file.

Disable Motion Blur Disables motion blur in the Scene View by setting camera shutter interval to [0,0]. Renders to disk are still motion-blurred.

Instantaneous Shutter Enable Instantaneous Shutter to get a motion vectors AOV that uses the camera shutter length, and AOVs with no motion blur.

Aspect Ratio Conform Policy Behavior when the aspect ratio of the image does not match the aspect ratio of the camera aperture. Expand Aperture, Crop Aperture, Adjust Aperture Width and Adjust Aperture Height changes the camera aspect ratio to match the output image . Adjust Pixel Aspect Ratio changes the aspect ratio of the output image to match the camera aspect ratio.

Data Window NDC Crop or overscan the image within the resolution specified above. The values are normalized to the range of 0 and 1. The default is 0, 0, 1, 1 (no cropping). For overscan, use negative values. For example, -0.1, -0.1, 1.1, 1.1 gives a 10% overscan on each side.

Pixel Aspect Ratio The aspect ratio of pixels.
