Download the Assemble Add-In to a Proxy Server

To add a project to Assemble, you must first download an Assemble Add-in to the design tool where the project was created.

The following are the Autodesk design tools that must have the Assemble Add-in installed before you can add their projects to Assemble.

• Revit
• AutoCad
• Civil 3D 64-BIT
• NavisWorks

Download the Assemble Add-in for various tools at Assemble Add-in Downloads.

From the download page:

1. Click the tool name to install the Assemble Add-In for that tool.

   AssembleSetup.exe downloads and displays in the bottom, right corner of the page.

2. Double-click AssembleSetup.exe.

   The Assemble Publisher Add-Ins Term License Agreement appears.

3. Select I agree to the license terms and conditions.

4. Select Install.

   The Assemble Publisher Add-Ins Setup Wizard appears.

5. Select Next.

   The Destination Folder dialog appears.

6. Select Set Proxy.

   The Proxy Configuration dialog appears.

   

7. Do one of the following:

   • Enter a proxy address and port. For example, http://server:port.
   • Leave this box blank to use the system default web proxy.

8. Click OK.

   The Destination Folder dialog appears.

9. Click Next.

   The Ready to install Assemble Publisher Add-Ins dialog appears.

10. Click Install.

11. Click Finish to close the setup wizard.

    The following message appears:

    

12. Click Close

    An Assemble tab is added to the design tool menu bar.
