iSqFt Integration
The integration with iSqFt is available to iSqFt users and can be enabled within Assemble upon request. Contact https://knowledge.autodesk.com/contact-support or your customer support representative to enable this feature.
Add a Shared View
To send shared views to your projects in iSqFt, you will first need to create a saved view in Assemble.
Once your view is active and ready to be sent to iSqFt, click the button.
Turn on Share outside of Assemble.
You can choose to send only the 3D model view to iSqFt or the 3D model view and the corresponding inventory for the view. iSqFt users that are granted permission to your iSqFt project documents can navigate and select in the viewer, They may also view ghosted (hidden) geometry, but may not explore that geometry.
With either the Viewer Only or Viewer and Inventory views, users that are granted permission to your iSqFt project documents will not be able to utilize the Properties panel available in Assemble, nor have access to the Model Tree, Visibility Settings, Grouping tool, or Column picker tool. End users will see the inventory and geometry exactly as you present it.
After selecting to share the Viewer Only or Viewer and Inventory, navigate to iSqFt and attach your shared view to your Project Documents.
In iSqFt, locate your project and select the Documents tab. Right-click the Model Views folder to add your saved view from Assemble.
Select the project in Assemble to correspond with your iSqFt project. Note that only a project containing shared views will be listed, and each project will list only the views that have been tagged to share in iSqFt.
Select the view or views that you would like to include as a iSqFt Project Document, and click Add.
Remove a Shared View
To remove a shared view from Assemble, click the button from your Assemble model inventory page, and turn off Share outside of Assemble.
You'll also need to delete the model view from iSqFt. iSqFt users that have been granted access to the model view will receive a notice, "This Assemble model view is not available."
