Bridge Permissions

The following tables show the capabilities of project members and project administrators for Bridge features in different tools.

Permissions in Bridge Tool

	Project Member	Project Administrator
Send an invitation to bridge to a project
Accept an invitation to bridge to a project
Delete bridge
Create automations and bridges Note: When sharing with another project, an automation and a bridge (if not existing) are created when automatic sync is selected
Pause automations	Members can only pause automations if they are the creator
Resume automations	Members must be the creator of the automation and: If they are also an administrator in the other project, the automation immediately resumes. If not, an administrator in the other project must attempt to resume an automation, then the automation resumes.	If an administrator is an administrator in both the source and target projects, the automation immediately resumes. If an administrator is only an administrator in one project and a member in the other, an administrator in the other project must attempt to resume an automation, then the automation resumes.

Share sheets from source project	Members must have View + Export permission or higher in source project
Add sheets to target project	Members must have Create + Upload permission or higher in target project	Administrators must have Create + Upload permission or higher or also be a project administrator in the target project
Share files/folders from source project	Members must have View + Download permission or higher for the selected file/folder
Add files/folders to target project	Files and folders can be shared to: Bridged projects: Any bridged project and a project administrator in the bridged project will accept or reject the files. My projects: Any folder in your project where the member has Edit permissions or higher.
Import sheets into current project	Members must have: Create + Upload permission or higher for Sheets in the current project View + Export permission or higher in the project they are importing from	Administrators must have Create + Upload permission or higher or also be a project administrator in the target project
Import files and folders into current project	Members must have: View + Download permission or higher for the file/folder they want to import Edit permission or higher for a folder in the target project	Administrators must have Edit permission or higher on a folder or also be a project administrator in the target project
Import as-builts from PlanGrid into current project	Members must have Edit permission or higher for at least one folder in Files in the current project Members must have a PlanGrid account connected to the Autodesk Account that they are logged into and be a member of at least one PlanGrid project or workspace.	Administrators must have a PlanGrid account connected to the Autodesk Account that they are logged into and be a member of at least one PlanGrid project or workspace.

Bridge Permissions in Files Tool

	Project Member	Project Administrator
View files/folders shared to the project	Members must have View, Create, Edit, or Manage permission on the shared files/folders
Share files/folders from source project	Members must have View + Download permission or higher for the selected file/folder
Add files/folders to target project	Files and folders can be shared to: Bridged projects: Any bridged project and a project administrator in the bridged project will accept or reject the files. My projects: Any folder in your project where the member has Edit permissions or higher.
