Publish Log

The Publish Log contains a chronological record of all activities which are in progress or have been completed in the specifications publishing process. Here, you can access and view specifications which are published, and resume the publishing process if this has not been completed.

Access the Specifications Publish Log

Members with Create permission or above can access the Publish Log.

  1. Click the Specifications tool.
  2. Click Publish log.

Each activity is recorded by:

Column Description
File name(s) Details the file name and file type.
Version set The name of the version set the specification was added to during the publishing process.
Issuance date The issuance date of the new or existing version set selected during specification upload.
Published on Date the specifications were published, or date the publishing was initiated if it's not completed.
Published by Name of the project member who published the specifications, or initiated the publishing process if it's not completed.
Status The status of the specifications in the publishing process. See the table below for more information.

Status

Specification status can be one of the following:

Status Description
Published The specification is published and available to all project members.

Click View specifications to see the published specifications from that version set.
Ready for review The specification is uploaded but a member needs to complete the publishing process.

Click Continue to resume publishing workflow.
Error There was a problem uploading the specification.

Click the Trash bin icon to remove the entry from the publish log. Click Remove entry to confirm your choice.
Expired The specification is expired. Specifications must be published within 30 days after they are ready for review.

Click the Trash bin icon to remove the entry from the publish log. Click Remove entry to confirm your choice.
Tip: You can also add and publish specifications from the Publish Log.

To do so, click Add specifications and follow the steps of the publishing process.
