To Work with Section Boxes

You can move section boxes either manually or numerically.

To open the Sections tools, in the BIM 360 toolbar, click Views. Then click Add Section.

Move

  1. Click Box.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Click Move and drag the gizmo arms or faces as needed.
    • Enter numerical values into the Position fields.

Rotate

  1. Click Box.
  2. Click Rotate.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Drag the gizmo to rotate the box as needed.
    • Enter values in the Rotation fields.

Scale

  1. Click Box.
  2. Click Scale.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Pull the scale points on the gizmo to resize the box as needed.
    • Enter numerical values in the Size fields.
