Project Members
Project members take actions and perform tasks in various modules. Their access to BIM 360 capabilities is governed by settings applied by an account or a project administrator, and by the permissions associated with a job role assigned to a given project member.
To begin using BIM 360 as a project member, respond to the email invitation from your account or project administrator.
Once you have project access, you can begin performing workflows in the modules available to you.
Depending on your company's subscription plan and your permissions within a project, as a project member you can carry out actions in one or more of following modules:
- Project Home: View important, actionable information relevant to you.
- Insight: Use BIM 360's analytics ecosystem to better assess risk, quality, and safety metrics for your project.
- Document Management: Store files and collaborate with your team on all necessary documents related to a project.
- Project Management: Collaborate with your team using RFIs and submittals.
- Design Collaboration: Use project timelines, packages, and changes to stay in sync with other teams and companies.
- Model Coordination: Publish, review, and run clash detection on your latest set of project models.
- Field Management: Perform construction, quality, safety, and commissioning workflows and manage onsite communication of issues and daily logs.
Tip: You can use the BIM 360 mobile app to access project documents, fill out checklists, and create and update issues in the field from your Android or iOS mobile device.
Refer to Visual Workflows: Project Members to see project member actions in each module in a workflow diagram.
