Work with Submittal Reports

You can apply filters or sort to refine the list of submittal items and packages before exporting.

Filters

Apply a filter to display a subset of submittal items.

  1. Click the Module Selector .
  2. In Project Management, click Submittals to display a list of all project items.
  3. Click the filter icon .
  4. Select one or more criteria. You can filter by spec section, status, assigned to, priority, due date, response, and type.

Packages can also be filtered.

  1. Click the Module Selector .
  2. In Project Management, click Submittals to display a list of all project items.
  3. Click the Packages sub tab.
  4. Click the filter icon .
  5. Select one or more criteria. You can filter by status, spec section, assigned to, and response.

Sort

Change the order of the Submittal Item or Package list.

  1. Click the Module Selector .
  2. In Project Management, click Submittals to display a list of all project Items.
  3. Optionally, click the Packages sub tab.
  4. Click the column header for Status, number (#), Title, Spec, Revision, Type, Package, Assigned to, Company or Due Date to sort the Submittals Item list.
  5. Click the same column header again to sort in reverse order.

Export Submittal Reports

There are three Submittal report types:

  • Package Summary reports provide a list of all project packages, and include links to related items and details such as package status and member assigned to each workflow role.
  • Single Package reports provide details about a specific package including member assigned to each workflow role, package status, and links to the included items.
  • Item Summary reports provide a list of all submittal items in the project and include details such as item status, member assigned to each workflow role, and due date.

Create a package summary report:

  1. In Project Management, select Submittals.
  2. Click the Packages sub tab.
  3. Click Export to create a package summary report.
  4. Once the report is prepared, a window to download a PDF appears. If you have applied filters or search results, only those packages are included in the report.

Create a single package report:

  1. In Project Management, select Submittals.

  2. Click the Packages sub tab.

  3. Select the desired package.

  4. Click Export to create the report.

  5. Once the report is prepared, a PDF is sent to your email.

    Note: This report type can take longer to create, depending on attachments in the package.

Create an item summary report:

  1. In Project Management, select Submittals.
  2. Click the Items sub tab.
  3. Click Export and choose the PDF or XLSX option to create the item summary report.
  4. Once the report is prepared, a window to download the report appears. If you have applied filters or search results, only those items are included in the report.
