About Managing Activities

Learn how to manage activities in your projects.

There are five activity types you can add to a project.
  • Task. Tasks are the most common activity type.
  • Milestone. Use to mark an event or the end of a group of activities. Milestones do not have a duration or a crew size.
  • Delivery. Use to coordinate delivery of material to the job site.
  • Roadblock. Use to track issues or constraints that can prevent you from completing a task.
  • Inspection. Use to track inspections of completed work.
