- In the Piping workspace, click
and select a pipe MvPart.
The Add MvParts dialog box displays the current part catalog for the tool you selected.
- On the Part tab, select a part subtype in the folder.
- Click Details to view available sizes.
- Select Display/Hide additional parameters to expand the contents of the parameters table.
- Click the Part Filter tab, and enter the desired criteria under Filter by Dimensions. Note: The part catalogs and content locations determine the parts you can add. If the part is unavailable, you can create a custom part using Content Builder.
- Select a part size name.
- Specify an elevation value.
- (Optional) Click the K-Factor tab to assign a K-factor value to sprinklers (listed under Fire Protection).
- Specify an insertion point in the drawing, and use the compass to specify a rotation angle.
- To add another existing MvPart, select the MvPart, click
.
Tip: You can also use the AutoCAD or commands in AutoCAD to add more MvParts.
