Creates a new duct of the same type and general properties as a selected object, but with different geometric values.
Add Selected command allows quick creation of similar objects. You can optionally edit the properties of the added fitting.
The following prompts are displayed.
- Select a duct
-
Select a duct to serve as the basis for a new object.
- Routing Preferences
-
Specify the justification setting for a duct segment.
- System
-
Specify the system name and abbreviation for the part.
- Size
-
Specify the nominal size of the object.
- Lock size
-
Specify whether or not to lock the nominal size of an existing duct. (Unlocked by default).
- Elevation
-
Specify the elevation above or below the XY plane of the object.
- Shape
-
Specify the shape of the duct fitting.
- Flow rate
-
Specify the flow rate value of the selected object. The flow rate value is read from the connected MvPart. If there is no MvPart connected, the value will be zero.
- Calculate [width/height]
-
- Width: Specify a size for Height.
You can change the height and recalculate the width repeatedly until you achieve a desirable duct size.
