Issue:
When opening a Revit or IFC model in the BIM 360or Autodesk Construction Cloud(ACC) Viewer, the drawing is empty:
- No error message is displayed when opening the file, nor does it show a broken icon.
- When pressing the home button, nothing happens.
- When opening the model tree and clicking an element, the model is suddenly displayed in gray and the elements can be set visible from the tree.
- When zooming the model, some elements can show rotated, or distorted.
Causes:
- A part of the file (not the whole file) is far away from the origin.
- When pressing the home button the environment zooms out far away and the model can be reduced to a size smaller than a pixel, making it appear invisible even if it is there.
- When selecting an element from the model tree, the window is zooming into the element and complementarity to the position of the whole model.
Solution:
For the model to be visible all the time:
- Move the element that is far away in the original Revit model closer to the origin
- Resave and re-upload the Revit or IFC file into the cloud.
