To Create a Task, Checklist, or Equipment Filter

Create a filter to display a subset of tasks, checklists, or equipment in the project.

You create filters in the BIM 360 Field web application. However, you can use them in both the BIM 360 Field web application and the mobile app. In the mobile app, filters save time when you download tasks, checklists, or equipment.

  1. Click Tasks , Checklists , or Equipment .
  2. Under Filters, click (+) New and choose from one of two options:
    • From Blank. Creates a filter without using the settings in the currently selected filter.
    • From <name of currently selected filter>. Uses the currently selected filter as a template. Add parameters to refine the data returned.
  3. Under Name, enter a descriptive name, for example, Tasks for <Company Name>.
  4. Specify which user roles have access to the filter. By default, all user roles have access to the new filter. Deselect a user role to restrict access.
  5. Select the search parameters of the new filter and click Save.
